Objective:
There were no measurable advancements in the treatment of partial—onset seizuresin the last 20 years and nearly 60% of the 3 million US adults with epilepsy were still experiencing seizures, despite taking epilepsy medication. People with epilepsy have been forced to settle for "good enough" and physicians have had to compromise for so long, they’ve grown complacent.
